In this project, I managed a 3rd party development team, wrote feature requirements, and created logic diagrams to build a mobile app that:
- Connects to the users’ bank accounts via Open Banking infrastructure
- Rounds up their spending to the nearest pound
- Allows users to select up to three charities
- Automatically donates money to the selected charities while giving users the option to:
- Set donation limits
- Make one-off donations
- Get updates about the impact their charities are making around the world
The system also conducts KYC checks to prevent any risky or illegal transactions from taking place.
What did I do in this project?
Acted as the bridge between the client, development team, and UX partner to turn the client’s vision and feedback from users into an action plan and a product roadmap. I have achieved this by
- Turning business needs and expected user behavior into
- written requirements
- drawn logic diagrams
for stories, tasks, and sub-tasks
- Prioritized features and tasks to create sprint plans and a development roadmap
- Acted as the mediator between all parties while keeping track of the progress
